Now that you've got those basics sorted out, you can start to consider how to make this fit into your home decor. Typically, vertical blinds stack well when grouped with drapes or other window treatments. However, because you're dealing with larger windows and doors, consider using horizontal blinds instead of Vertical Blinds whenever possible.

For instance, if your main bedroom has a large sliding glass door that stretches out onto the patio, consider putting your vertical blinds up above the door to provide some light control.
