 Vertical blinds are often very decorative when they are in their original box. When not in use, these wonderful window treatments can provide privacy and light control when closed. However, the vertical blind can no longer provide the effects if they become damaged. The main problem with damaged vertical blinds is that they cannot operate as effectively as they did when new. This means that you have to replace the vertical blinds before they break. Follow these steps to repair damaged blinds.



To replace any section of your Vertical Blinds Dubai, begin by moving each slat to the open position, with the slats pointing to the ceiling. All the blinds will be connected at the top using chain tie downs. Locate the jamb that contains the spring clip and lift each blind out of the way. If the blinds are held in place by tension cable, use a ladder to lift them from the jamb.

Attach to the chain and wand with a pair of pliers :

After the blinds are out of the way, discard the chain ties and screws. Attach the spacer chain to the vertical blinds as stated above and screw the spring clips into position. Replace the slot guides on both sides of the window treatments and the eyelets on the ladders. Replace the jamb and retie the chain and spacer clips. The vertical blinds should now be reinstalled in the same manner as when you initially installed them.

Occasionally there may be problems with the chain or the wand mechanism. You can also adjust the slat guide for this issue. To do so, pull the adjustment cord on the chain until the slat guide is fully extended and then snap it back.
